A versatile artist whose passion for dance has defined her career.

Belle Jessen is a NYC-based artist and Chicago native.

With her multi-faced experience as a performing artist, choreographer, and instructor, Belle’s love for dance and the community runs deep. Her passion for technique and artistic playgrounds led her to Point Park University where she performed works by Kyle Abraham, Bob Fosse, Randy Duncan, Garfield Lemonius, Kiesha Lalama, and Kevin Iega Jeff. She has received additional training from River North Dance Chicago, Hubbard Street, Lines Ballet, The San Francisco Conservatory, and the Galen Hooks Method.

Belle’s professional career has dabbled in the commercial and concert dance scenes.

In 2016, she fled to Los Angeles where she worked alongside pop icons Dua Lipa, Katy Perry, Charli XCX, Troye Sivan, Banks, and Moby. Her love for performing shined when she appeared on TV shows, The Voice and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, and at Disney industrials alongside icons Jodi Benson and Scott Weinger. She has danced with companies Visceral Dance Chicago, Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre, and Arrogant Elbow, and performed choreographic works by Peter Chu and Annalee Traylor.

Belle has set staged works on companies Chicago Dance Crash, Consuming Kinetics St. Louis, and award-winning pre-professional companies in the Midwest. She has choreographed music videos for LA’s alternative rapper and producer, Voli Contra, and commercials for brands Whirlpool and Kitchen Aid.

She has a passion for blending her artistic background and love for dance on camera in several self-produced films.

Alongside her journey as a performer and choreographer, Belle’s gift of mentoring continues to leave a mark on the dance community. Her nurturing energy has led her to connect with dancers nationwide through coaching, master classes, intensives, adjudicating, and choreography.

Belle’s indebted love for the arts community underscores the transformative power of dance and inspires aspiring artists everywhere.

She is represented for commercial/print and theatre by MMV Talent in New York City and Talent by Alexander in Chicago.
